My name is Talia, or Tals to most. I’m 20 years old and originally hail from sunny Cleethorpes, which just so happens to be THE best place in the whole of England and the perfect tourist destination if you’re ever stuck where to go for your jollys. I’m currently living and studying in Manchester where I am the Deputy Fashion and Beauty Editor at The Mancunion. I am a Northern girl with a love for spending too much money on clothes, make up and cake. I love writing and telling a good story to anyone who will listen and so I’ve created this blog to incorporate all of my favourite things.

After a lot of thought I finally decided on the name The Wannabe Blonde for two reasons.

Number one: to pay homage to the greatest girl band song ever written, ty to the Spice Girls for providing the ultimate girly anthem.

Number two: I’ve been a brunette in denial for about four years now, I was convinced that I was a ‘dark blonde’. It is only now, after a few trips to the hairdressers that I can confidently call myself a bronde. I’ve finally realised that I absolutely was not a blonde for many years.

So that’s how I came up with my blog name, I hope you enjoy it!
